just did the dishes. am gonna make this a quick one before i go and take a shower. am totally drained out today!
went to school with jharana as anita woke up only after i gave her a call, haha. had to carry around a volleyball the entire day. had two hours of lects followed by bcls assessment. was super nervous at first but it got better. jharana and i kinda screwed things up at the adult foreign body airway obstruction (choking). but am glad all three of us passed and also my subgrp grp members. only staffan has yet to be assessed.
had lunch at north canteen & then studied on my own for the second part of bcls, the theory paper. we're allowed to get six questions wrong in order to pass and weird thing is that i couldn't answer exact six! hopefully, the other 24 answers are right :/ *crosses fingers*
got my boots from the locker after that and rushed down to np. zee zee (okay, i just realized that idk how to spell her name) & kenzie were there to keep me company in the train :) i didn't get lost like yesterday, haha. had to ask around for directions once i reached and two guys pointed to the toilets when i asked for the auditorium -.- was so happy when i bumped into sandy! :)
turns out that hem was referring to the convention center all along! met her -> changed -> headed towards the field. met her teammates and they were really warm people :) seemed more like an international students' club rather than a softball team, haha.
we started by doing catch&throw(s) in pairs followed by batting. was excited like a little kid all along! :D after that, we did fielding while waiting for our turn for a go at the pitcher feeding machine. i was like super scared of that as i had never trained with one before. and adding to that was the size of the balls. their encouragements made me stand in the batterbox and i actually made contact! was so proud of myself, haha. like even after six years, i had the momentum! well the skills has become rusty and is kinda disappointing but i'm just happy that i got a chance to play again today :)
we divided into two teams & had a match which lasted for an inning only cause it was getting dark. played captain's ball for pt as majority of us didn't know the rules of touch rugby, haha. this was where everyone got all sweaty. cooled down, kept the equipment & sat there at the carpark talking for a while. their storeroom is so cute la! under the stairs, like harry's bedroom :)
we, the girls, changed at the field :O we the weirdos, haha. bus-ed home with jean. talked about the guys and we made plans, i'm so excited! can't remember when was the last time i was looking forward smthng so much like this. i have to think about whether or not i wanna join the team or not.
