Beatty Secondary was officially opened and 55 years old yesterday.I woke up around 0830,read storybooks to pass time,lunched,took a bath and was off to school.I met Zhong Zi and we headed to school together.Both of us were wearing slippers.We rushed up to council room and away from Mr Singh.Changed into blazer and heels and walked around.I did not had dinner as I was already full. Then went to the foyer and Yee Lynn,Fion and I started singing until Aby stopped us.The guests started arriving around 4.We ushered them until the staircase.G.O.H Mr Zainudin Nordin arrived around 0515 with his group.The Boys Brigade performed and guests headed to the heritage gallery.Some of us(receptionists)went to the conference room to take a break.Mr Chan,Mr Rohan, Mr Tham,Mr Lee and the Girl Guides were in there.We were served with the refreshing drink of sprite,mint leaves,cucumbers,etc.We filled our stomachs with the best cupcakes made by Mdm Diana.Took loads of pictures and visited other booths.Headed up to the hall and we were lucky to catch the grand finale.
The choir sang so beautifully.The dancers did well too and the whole ceremony ended with the banging of the confetti cannons.Some like Rafiee were stuck.Hahah.Opened doors for the guests and off to booth.I took on four guests only.Two of them were japanese.Had a great time communicating with the japanese girls,Mayumi and Miya.Booth ended and we walked around,took pictures and watched the performance.Cleared up the booth.Slacked in council room and went to find Ms Fauziah and I was paiseh.The moment I said that Ms Fauziah was not in the room loudly,she popped out of a corner of the room,laughing.She told us to dump the rubbish outside school.So,all of us(booth people)went down.Christine was freaking out while Daniel and I had fun making a lighthouse using our handphones.Mdm Chia declared that we could go home and we were practically jumping for joy and screaming.The others were staring at us.Changed into slippers and home with Grace,Sandy,Alvin and Tristal.We kept scaring one another considering it's the start of Hungry Ghost festival.
I myself freaked out and was scared to go home alone.Called Sandip up but his phone don't know what.So,called Success and they were together.Planned to meet at bubble tea shop with them as they were already at JS.The stupid 155 took so long to come and the guys went home.So,decided to go home with Suren Dai.But,he had to buy dinner and I ran home all the way shivering.I reached home around 0950.My uncle from UK was at my house and we celebrated dad's birthday.Had loads of fun and uncle left at 1030.Slept like a pig until 10 today. Theres tuition later at 3.
